Charity Santa's Grotto '26
Santa’s Grotto at Gordale 2026
Our Christmas Grotto is run by Hospice of the Good Shepherd, with 100% of every ticket price donated directly to the charity.
The Grotto runs from Saturday 28th November to Wednesday 23rd December 2026, with advance online booking essential.
Every child and infant will enjoy their own special visit with Santa and receive an age-appropriate Christmas gift. Everyone entering the Grotto requires a valid ticket, including babies in arms.
Quiet Time
On 1st, 2nd, 9th, 17th and 21st December, we’ll offer Quiet Time throughout the day, with reduced capacity, static and dimmed lighting, and quieter music to create a calmer environment while keeping all the magic of the Grotto.
Quiet Time is open to everyone. Look out for the specially marked dates when booking.
On the day:
Please arrive 10 minutes before your booked time to allow time to make your way to the Grotto and check in. A number of families are allocated to each arrival time to help us manage queues, but each family will enjoy their own visit with Santa.
Please have your tickets ready when you arrive. The Grotto is located in our undercover canopy area, so remember to wrap up warm.
Tickets are non-refundable. Please check your chosen date, time and ticket quantities carefully before completing your booking.
